Maria Tureaud hails from the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland. A Developmental Editor of fourteen years, Maria is acclaimed author of middle grade and adult fiction. Born and raised in Ennis, Ireland, you can find her drinking tea in New Jersey as she dreams of moving home to her beloved County Clare.
On the editorial side, Maria specializes in characterization, internal/external conflict, deep POV, show versus tell, and voice, and she loves to help writers balance craft with creativity in order to produce the best possible product. Helping both agented and Indie authors, Maria makes it her mission to help writers everywhere to share their stories.
Maria also works as a copyeditor for major New York City publishing house, Macmillan, and is a proud member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA). Maria edits most genres of fiction across multiple age categories.
